Alan and I carried up the computers from forestry and set them up. I worked with Alan deleting forwarder and harvester simulator programs on forestry's computer's and downloaded the newer versions. Alan and I also checked the joysticks on all four computers. I put labels on the bottom of the joysticks. I cleaned out the dust from my computer and keyboard with the can of air. Then wiped down my screen with glass cleaner.

I worked on CISCO Chapter 10 Communication skills, and my journal. Carried down forestry's computers, and set them up. Did the Online Leadership / PDP test for SkillsUSA.
12:25 to the end of the day
Coleman and I went down to D.O. and brought back the computer. I hooked it up and went into network places and found the printer and added it to the computer and set it up as the defualt. I also did a printer test to make sure it was working, and checked the enternet connection. March 3, 2009

I finished my CISCO Chapter 10 Communication Skills packet. I started pages 191,192,193, and 194 in the blue book.

Went to talk to Pete for SkillsUSA, got my permission slips for the Maine State Conference. Finished 194, 193, 192, and 191 in the blue book.

Picked a number one out of an enevelope, then had to fill out a customer work sheet, I had Tate who was an angery customer. I started by apolgizing to him and then asked him when it stoped working, and then I gave him possible solutions that might be the problem. Then started my resume on Mircorsoft Word.

Worked on my resume, did Chapter 10 quiz and went over Chapter 10 packets. Did Chapter 10 test, and got a 89.1 on it.
12:25 to end of the day
Finished my resume, and started my Reference sheet. I logged my journal.
Question:
A friend is considering turning his computer hobby into a career and has asked you on outfitting himself as a freelance technician. What tools would you recommend to your friend??
I would tell him to research what he would need, the pro's and con's of starting a freelance job, and how much money it would cost to get into freelance work. March 9, 2009
